Canadian LAV25 Suggest.

Hey guyz, i got a cool idea for our LAV25. I hope you will like it.

As you can see, we had a pole whit camera for recon. So it is possible to add it on our LAV and use "W" to climb it up, "S" to pull it back and the mouse to use the camera just like anyother one whit some zoom. The passenger under the pole will got control of it by pressing "2" ( Just like choppers ) It would be a only 3 passengers vehicle ( driver, gunner, camera men) able to do recon of the battlefield. They are currently used in Afganistan

anyway its just a suggest, i know you can't edit EA models, but you can add child object on it, ( like USAr B.H.)

The Coyote is a LAV-25, just with a different name.

i'm not sure that you can change the camera position unless if it's in increments (like back forward, side view in vanilla)
might be hardcoded but who knows

Do it up. Please. I will -never- leave the cab. And yes, that does reinforce the realistic nature of Canadian recon-based combat operations.

They arent the same. The Stryker is a Lav 2.5 (upgraded version of the Lav 2), while the Lav 3 is a whole new generation. Canada and New Zealand are the only countries that use the Lav 3. There arent that many differences, mainly steering and suspension, so it doesnt get stuck as much. All the wheeled Lavs are very similar, the only thing that has changed is the drivetrain, suspension/steering and electronics through the years..they are all based off of Canadas 6 wheeled AVGP from the 60's, and all use identical hulls/chassis.

And all of them would get eaten alive by a Swedish CV-90 (its the light tracked vehicle that the Brits get in PR).

That pic the OP posted is a Lav 2 Coyote, it is used for Armoured Recce and almost nothing else, the Lav 1 Bison (without a turret) is armed transport/abmulance, and the Lav 3 is infantry.

This is a Lav 3:..you cant really tell from the pic, but the wheels are a few inches bigger than the ones on the Coyote.

Its a Swedish tracked LAV...but a few other countries use them. They also have the best tank in the world (its an upgraded Leopard...more so than the Canadians, which is old and crappy...or the German's, who Canada is lending off of in Afghanistan right now)

Not to be an ass, but much of this is incorrect.
