Actros: Mercedes Supply Truck <3

I was standing around, tacking up plywood at my job site when I turn around and see 4 of these babies with brand new forest camouflage making their way to my city's armory. Immediately I thought: 'I wonder what the PR CF Supply truck is going to look like' and came back here to run a quick search.







If I had any sort of 3d modelling experience I'd leap on this since they're awesome looking. Such an intimidating hunk of metal. And a damn good call, banking on the mercedes brand,statement and quality. Maybe somebody else would like to take up the yoke?

Couldn't find any sample of the camouflage. Primarily black and green, and a very fresh coat as far as I could tell.

Oh, and my personal suggestion is that somebody mock up a Coyote Recon APC for use on specific maps. Dunno if you want to do another LAV type, but I'm sure somebody can do something with the idea. G-Wagon, is that going to replace the humvee? (Thought that'd be the Nyala) or is it just going to be there as an executive transport (perfect for the commander and a designated driver to give him mobility while commanding)

luckily it's a mercedes truck and not a car. otherwise it would break down every 2 days due to electronics problems...

On wich planet did you leave on ? Mercedes Benz produce some of the finest car... Like BMW, Volks, and all German brand car company.


BTT : We dont have Supply truck ingame... only the 2.5 tons troops transport, cause US dont use the 2.5tons they use the HEMTT like we use the Mercedes truck...

The real difference between the 2.5tons and the supply truck is the supply truck can drop a container and go away

have you ever owned a new e-class for example? those things are nice cars but a pain in the butt regarding reliability. and the surcharge list is ridiculous. you buy a car for 80k € and have to pay for a spare wheel (otherwise you get that tirefit crap). but that's the same for all german car manufacturers unfortunately (look at a porsche extras list ).

and no, i'm not a particular mercedes hater. in fact, i love mercedes. but i think that the company policy under schrempp sucked and was not designed to build the high-quality cars one was used to from models like the W124 for example (amazing quality there).

my audis NEVER had anything. i had an A4 before, now an A3 Sportsback. No problems at all on 200k km each. the e-class my father owned 2 years ago (since then he has audi as well ) had to go to the shop for repairs 7 (!) times in 1 (!) year due to electronic problems. it was a nice car, though.

Ah joker.. Audi, VW and BMW have issues too. Think about VW TFSI Engines that can not run with bio fuel or other problems with the software. If you ever have a single software problem with your car... SELL IT FAST they will never fix it properly
Its because the companys are so in hurry to bring a new car and technology into the market, so they don't have enough time to test it properly. Mercedes is very technology focused and so they build way to much high tech in their cars...
My prioritize cars are some like the Lotus Super Seven or Wiesmann... Just four wheels, an engine and a steering wheel.. nothing more you need

My personal opion is: Mercedes is for cab drivers (At least here in Amsterdam)
BMW is for pimps, if you got class and the money, go for a nice Audi.

Cars in general are 30% more expensive in NL then in DE due to exhorbitant extra taxes the goverment puts on the price, so for the same money i am driving my Peugeot 207 1.6 Hdi, i could by a Audi A3 in Germany.

American cars are for suckers if you would by them in NL, not that they are bad cars but they cost more because of importing, they use a lot of gasoline compared to EU cars, gas prices are about +/- € 1.50 per Litre here and in general they weigh a lot more witch increases the extra road use taxes. were getting ripped off by our own government.

This is such a sweet truck, this is likes a truckers dream car. Canadian Forces will be riding in style .
