CH-124 Sea King

This is Canadas most used Transport heli and i can provide picks but the one downside of them is there reliablity so if u ever add this into the game make sure it has random engine or rotor failures like ur rotor coming off and going spinning in a cliffside or at line of enemys/friendlys

I know the pics are small so just click on them

afaik, those things are impossible to do (intentionally). it would just be the transport.

Who would choose to play maps where your helicopter randomly crashes on you...that would be even worse than n00bs.

We don't generally use Sea Kings for regular troop transport AFAIK. Mostly ASW and ship-board operations. But perhaps someone more knowledgeable could chime in, LeadMagnet or someone else who might know.

Don't we use the Griffin? A type of Huey?
I recall the Sea King was coastal guard.. And is so crappy it won't be for long.

Sea King is a navy courrier heli, we dont use it for infantry, we use Griffon for that purpose.
We will not use Sea Hawk anymore in 2009 ! It got replace by the Sikorsky H92 Cyclone, wich is basicly a Black Hawk redesign to look-like a Merlin.

CH-148 Cyclone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We dont need Sea transport, since the Canada dont have any type of Amphibious Ship anyway.
For our troops we use the Griffon wich is basicly a 4 palm high end Huey.

I believe there are plans to deploy the Griffon to Kandahar this summer as well. So it may be feasible to place the chopper on Afghanistan maps, were it a modeled, skinned and coded asset available to mappers. I don't know that it's being used in a transport role though, due to performance issues in the hot climate. I heard it was just going to be used as over watch and the like? It is also a possibility that they may deploy with the M134D mounted
