Since the MacMillan is a .50 caliber i think it will be unfair to give it to Canadian, since United States dont have the barett M82A1 issued..(in the mod not in real life)
By the way, the longest sniper shot ever recorded : 2,430 Meters (2,657 yd).... whit the MacMillan  This meant that the bullet had a flight time of ≈ 4.5 seconds, and a drop of ≈ 70 meters (230 ft). In 2 shots, the 1st one was the aiming one, second hit right on target.

In the interview with that guy I saw, I think it was from the Fifth Estate, he stated that they were supporting Americans, and they ran out of ammo. They started using American ammo and it was much more effective for range and accuracy.
