Hi team, i just want to talk about the canadien voice and give my opinion.
I just take the idea to get some class who be FRENCH voice, every from quebec talking french and most of people i know, play to project reality. Not all class but someone... That will be more realist and more good for the gameplay. Nice Works about the Canadien force JustKiller |

While it seems like a good idea, I'm not entirely sure that it's worth the amount of effort required. To actually make this realistic we would, in fact, have to record a full set of French voice overs, as it makes little sense that you'd have a single French speaking soldier stuck in with a bunch of English speaking soldiers who cannot understand him. Can we not just assume that the units in the map scenarios are in fact English speaking units?

There's already a french sound files for Battlefield 2. So I guess you could use that as a place holder for the Canadian-English one.

well some of the french is the same, but id still get a French canadian to do voiceovers, and BTW soldiers in the Canadian army are trained in both official languages, so yes they can undwerstand each other on the battlefield

I mean you must see Bon Cop Bad Cop movie to understand. like a post from an other; "Tabarnac[its a Christian artifacts] tu me tire dessus" "Esti d'Calisse" = W.T.F. men both Esti ( ostie the jesus white thing they put it you're mouth, and the Calisse an other Christian artifacts in Church...) Its may not look clear told like this i know, but... you can trust me, French from Québec is not the same a France one, its like to say British and American where speaking the same english... really not... I wont see any british come here whit he's euro accent and said "Wallup dog, how are you jeez, wanna chill whit some chixx tonight" | |

There are Americans who say "Wallup dog"?
And I think that the guy's suggesting a French-Canadian accent, not somebody actually speaking French. |
