The newfies are really hoping Quebec will separate so that the drive to Toronto will be a lot shorter. The way I see it, Quebec has no right to separate from the country and I find the referendum to be offensive. If you are going to have a referendum, it should be a national one, and if 51% of Canadians want to get rid of Quebec, then fine. But if just 51% of Quebecers want to leave, I say, let them say they want to leave, and if they try, roll the tanks in on their asses. It's no less offensive when Albertans talk about separation. Have some national pride, and don't be so greedy. You can't just decide to separate unless you have permission to leave.

Anyways it's a *total joke* now, so my anti-french sentiments don't even matter lol. Quebec will never separate from Canada, period. The world is moving in the opposite direction of that. We will have a North American Union, with a single currency. Separation is completely unrealistic at this point, and I'm just sick of listening to french politicians complaining about shit.

So, we've completely ruined this thread now lol.

Back on topic, now that PR is adding the Canadian Forces, maybe they can add like an FLQ Militia for the CF to fight against? Instead of IED's they could have mailbox bombs, and instead of bandages, they could throw poutine.

the only seperating that should happen in Canada is the seperation from the British monarch or w.e it's called. Seriously is it necessary for our country to be giving all this money to someone who hasn't really done sh!t for our country.
