MAP IDEAS
H'okay so guys , I thuaght it would be good to make this thread , just post up any map ideas - in detail if you have it all in your mind , and we'll be able to think of good maps to make for teh CF! . I probably haven't looked hard enough , but do we have a skin for CF if so , what colour is it / what terrain will they been fighting in . more importantally who against ??
I think Desert / urban would be good .  |

Map idea CF against INS...
Operation: [i dunno a name]
- Urban Combat/Gras land Combat - Buildings mixed: small-big-destroyable - CF main vehicles: 2 APC'S 6 RG-31 Nyala - CF job: Destroy all rallypoints hidden in the buildings - INS main vehicles: 2 Technicals (50.) 2 technicals (TOW) - INS Pick Ups: 8 RPG's - 2 Mosin sniper 2 - 4 PKM's - map has 3 environments: arounds CF base: Desert Insurgent city: Urban Behind the city: grassy Few movies that i used as makein a idea
(3:23Minutes!!^)
Only look at the environment  the map should bring much teamwork/intence battles/CQB/Long range/middle range fights! Hope you like it | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

I think i saw that idea on a thread the other day , and might i say , if i knew it was such a good one i would not have made this thread!

make something along the lines of albasrah or helmand. Only, maybe add some more trees or something. THose video's you see canadians behind a dirt embankment or something shooting at mud houses.

Look up some images of Kandahar region. Most of it is brown and mountainous. The houses are in a very interesting mud and rock style with rounded entrances.

I have a video for you, will get it to you within the next couple of days. I also had a map idea awhile ago but can't really remember it
 It was based on real-life, there is a crucial supply line going through some village and the insurgents kept attacking the convoy's so the Canadians were sent to clear it out. |

We should get a snowy map, with thick forest amd alot of mountains.
Maybe get some vids from canadian forces in Bosnia. |

arjan you really need to choose a theatre, first and last videos are from Afghanistan and the rest are from Iraq
Youtube and Liveleak are great ref. points for either; my advise would be to first decide where you are going to base it and start your research from there. |
