This is unrelated but I just wondered what the deal is with the chopper on that map? Does it only spawn there after a certain time?

Freaking love this map, played it yesterday and had a really good time.
The thing that you can't really see or effectly combat anything 5m in front of you because of the over/undergrowth makes it so easy to sneak or flank up behind the brits and get some easy kills.
Also the first time I think i prefered a rifle without the acog, then you know it's cqb.

Lovely map, really immersive, i totaly agree with first poster! I love playing as a mountain engineer, but it's equally fun to play the bad guys and ambush what ever comes my way

(On a side note, the insurgents should be able to move more freely (wich means reduced fall-damage) to replicate the fact that they know the area better and are lighter equipped then their counterparts.)

LB Transport on Korengal - Win, I've gotten really high scores just to get troops from the main.

Somehow some pilots never manage to stay alive though

Re: Korengal- An Experience

I also had a pretty intense experience on Korengal 2 or 3 days ago with teammates.

We were on US side. For 1/3 of the game at the beginning, most of our team was heavily pin-down at main, despite multiple attempts to flank the ennemy, they were every were, each squad movement was under heavy cover and very slow, firefights were going on for a very long time. Violent.

Although, we did managed to push insurgent back. We jumped in a Humvee and went to the first red marks on the map (cache). With the .50 cal shooting at insurgent everywhere.

Once on position, I parked the humvee in a "safe" location. And we began patrols searching for the cache. Heavy firefight all time long. Once cache destroyed, we returned to the Humvee, went to the next red marks on the map, .50 cal shooting, going full speed on small mountainuous roads.

Parking the humvee, scanning the area on foot, fighting insurgent.

We repeated it until we won. My squad destroyed 4 or 5 cache!

Amazing round! Patroling on foot and with Humvee on korengal searching for cache and fighting insurgent, it was awesome.

There is no brits on korengal, its US Army.

I played it on Tcombat server obviously.
