[USMC] Strike at Zatar

Objective: Farm > Natural Gas > Central Hill > Airfield > Natural Gas
Outcome: US Win by 20 or so tickets.!

FARM:

Started off with "Inf. Voip" and instantly 6 people join, all most like UK/Europe. We geared up, did the briefing and were on our way to the battlefield. Our first CP to capture was Farm.



We landed near a shack next to a large wheat field. I set a rally, set up the Sniper and H-AT on over-watch and the rest of the squad and myself headed over to the flag to neutralize it. We encountered a MEC APC which was taken out by the H-AT near the shack in a jiffy. Once we had captured farm, we called for the hueyie, which took us over to Natural Gas Plant.

NATURAL GAS

Utter fail, were my only words, once we had landed south of the CP, the pilot flipped the chopper and sliced up almost the whole squad with the blades. Although the bird was still upright and in good condition, we had lost an asset and time, and there was such little time until the MEC reinforcements arrived.

CENTRAL HILL

We all spawned at the rally, I was thinking hard of an idea. Suddenly, I received a call from an APC asking if we would like to ride in the back, and I just couldn't say NO . I assembled the squad, got them in the back and asked to be dropped off near Central Hill. We gathered our gear from the LAV and made full-speed across a marsh to a ruined building were we placed our Rally Point. We took fire from a single soldier and managed to suppress him easily.

Unfortunately, a sly MEC *ugger with a Hk21 was sneaky enough to flank us and suppress, he also killed half my squad but again, another LAV came and saved the moment for us. He also popped us some smoke so we could get to the chopper I had called in safely.

We boarded the chopper and headed over to Airfield, which was strangely left undefended by the MEC team.

AIRFIELD

We landed on a plain about 200m away from the flag, we all ran to the CP as fast as we could and encountered no enemy activity. Once we had captured the point, I called in for a chopper to get us to Natural Gas and thank god, it wasn't the same pilot that took us to the same place before.

NATURAL GAS [ATTACK 1]

Oh no! Another disaster again at Natural Gas! A nearby MEC fire-base with sandbags, razor-wire, AA and a BTR! I quickly told my squad to hit the deck and head into the river, luckily the chopper made it out barely. We were defending from all sides, there was no end. I then took out my SOFLAM then asked for the littlebird to do a raid on the fire-base. But it was already too late, our rally and and squad were wiped out although the MEC fire-base had crumbled to pieces.

Meh I was there for 15 minutes and left due all the bitching that was going on due "base raping" and general retardedness of most players.

Hella sweet, Zatar is one of my fav maps, i just love the type of warfare in that map.
