I want to thank my squad - INF VOIP - and the USMC team for fighting excellently yesterday (3 Nov) on Gulf of Oman WAC at around 22h GMT on the TG server.
USMC attacked in a concentrated way capturing the beach fortifications from North West to South East, one after another in an extremely short time. This is due IMO to the tactic of having one working APC in my team - great work mate (although I can't recall anybody's name now) - which is providing covering fire below from the shore onto the fortification while the infantry kept that APC alive and also attacked the flag. Our first APC lasted for at least 20-30 min. USMC got stuck while capturing the flags Hotel and Construction Site, though. Hotel was in the domain of the INF VOIP squad and we succedeed twice capturing the point. In the end USMC won although MEC made it really hard for us to get any further after the swift capture of the beach fortifications. After that battle I quit playing for that night; I didn't want to spoil that feeling of great satisfaction |
