I'm sorry for the n00by question, but how do you precisely measure distance? I read about this shot in 786m?? How did you know it was that far? Is there any method by using the binoculars?

As for my longest shot, I don't know how far it was, but I did aim well above the target's head and successfully headshot him, so I guess it was >600m? It was in EJOD desert. But I can't tell the exact distance

I think there are 2 ways to be exact. By the officer's kit simrad. Or by placing a move marker on the target. But mostly i just judge by estimation. Since if you snipe alot you would more or less know roughly what the range is. I think you can also tell by using the map and the grids. Not sure though since you cannot spot things that are too far away.

my longest is when i picked up a M95 from the bunkers whent to the small group of houses to the north east. N.C. had 1 also he fired at thge SL killing him. Then a medic comes and i pop him in the head and he bounces ooff the floor to roof and back down. They were oon top of the Southeastern most bunker

ya i have killed people u cant see with a tank just by firing a HEAT round off a wall in 0.5. But i still think my longest shot without a scope is with a M1A2 Abrams in 0.5. over 800 meters to kill a tank. BOOM!

In 0.5 there weren't any maps with a 800 metre view distance...

Hmm, 1sk's at 500m+ are sceptical since you either need a perfect headshot or 2+ shots to drop them. I'm not sure with sniper but with marksman I dropped a prone sniper on EJOD at 584m, no idea how many shots it took!
