Helmand Province

I just had a blast on PR on Helmand Province as the British. I've only just downloaded this mod and I have to say that I've been playing BF2 for ages and this was the single greatest experience I've ever had on it. It's nothing special, just a regular game of PR I guess.

Had a brilliant squad, everyone communicated with eachother and used teamwork and tactics. Crouching down behind mounds of mud and returning fire on insurgents who you could hardly see - it was just like the firefights you see from helmet cams etc from the real battles going on out there today. It was intense, bullets flying round your head, the cracking as they pass right next to you.... We even thought we were safe defending an outpost only to be ambushed by hidden enemies with RPGs (subsequently wiping my entire squad out)! It was an amazing gaming experience and I hope to have many more like that in the future.

Just felt like sharing it

Thanks for sharing, mate! That's how PR is supposed to be. Teamwork and great experiences all the way. And that map is absolutely lovely; I'm just hoping for a huge-ass version for a later release.

And welcome to the forums!

KP still is the number one hottie, noobs.

I'd do KP. Wouldn't everyone?

The new Al basrah in upcoming 0.6 will have a lot of new destroyable buildings.
The Helmand Province has just set a new cornerstone in PR: fully destroyable enviroments

Get the open beta 0.6 torrent...

[R-DEV]Gaz: Shout "WE R L33TZ" at the MD, sucker punch him, then teabag him while shouting "WHO OWNS YA? WHO OWNS YA? SAY OUR NAME! IGI! IGI! IGI! OFP2 Beta plz?"

I was in that squad I think
That was an awesome round - everyone in the squad actually played like their lives mattered. Brilliant stuff.
