Isn t driving an old banged up Toyota with a machine gun boulted on the back in the midle of the street and shooting it, something like putting up a sign "shoot me please", in general?
It s not armoured or anything like that.

Well, yeah, why would you be in the middle of the street in a technical firing the machine gun like a madman shooting at anything that moves... Technicals are used for run and gun tactics, as wasteland soldier gave an example of this... You have to keep moving and be mobile, always...

Might try it sometime, although I tend to stick a few IED's on them and ram them into a tank.

When I usually play, USMC doesnt have a commander, so pretty much all insurgent assets are avaiable...so take a tech, shoot half a meg in it (or leave it intact, if youre expecting to live a bit longer) then put all 3 C4s (Mechanic) on front and go...its very fast and with Shift it goes even faster...enough to make it explode, when bumbing a tank or APC...

[R-DEV]Gaz: Shout "WE R L33TZ" at the MD, sucker punch him, then teabag him while shouting "WHO OWNS YA? WHO OWNS YA? SAY OUR NAME! IGI! IGI! IGI! OFP2 Beta plz?"

I never thought about shooting it first, will have to try that.

If you're against a tank and going full speed you should blow up on impact, if not it's easy enough to get out, trigger and BOOOOOOOOM.

It'd be fun to have a 6-man squad in two technicals working together.

Eh, I think I found a problem, I manage to putter around in a A-10 for a bit with a near empty server and I swear I saw the Technicals come up on the HUD when people were operating them... Problem when you're not operating in the tight streets. This would explain why my technical convoy (3 full technicals, woot!) got massacred in 10 seconds by the two A-10's when we were heading out from village to NVCP. We were spread out a bit in case a cobra jumped us, then the 'death ray' and rockets came out of nowhere, knocked my two buddies out, and another line of mini-gun death hit me soon afterwards. Then the A-10's buzzed over...

Edit; to be clear, two of the three technicals were in my squad, the third belong to another who was just following us. We had a mutual agreement to cover each other with the .50's in case of heli attacks. If 2 is better than 1, then 3 must be better than 2.
