Post [AAR] Pilots of old times were no better then now

Now this story is from long ago, back when the Chinese light attack heli was on the map (I think it was Quai River?) and the US attack LB were still on that map.

After joining up with a VOIP squad, we proceeded to clear out enemy Chinese APC's and transports, and capping points like no tomorrow. The Chinese team got pretty pissed at us, and after a harrowing escape from 3 squads trying to take us down, we went to the fairly middle-of-the-map located village/walled off buildings to cap it.

Needless to say, after APC's and swarms of troops we thought the worst had past, when we heard that they had sent the light attack chopper to shred our asses in to ground beef.
(An enemy squad actually said that, knowing we didn't have anything left to counter it - we had no AT nor AR)

Our own chopper was down, we had no APC support, nearest friendlies were busy fighting in the map corner and all we had for cover were these light metal plates surrounding the village, and some big silos to hide behind.
A plan came up to use the plates and silos and run circles with the chopper behind us, knowing that his bullets could not go through either obstacles.
He fired endlessly at us, even having to go back to his main THREE TIMES to rearm his spent cannon rounds, and we just stayed at the same spot trying to get our team to react.
The bullets impacted so close to us, you could reach out and lose an arm but he never, ever hit anyone good enough to actually wound them.

For the next HOUR, the attack chopper completely missed every single one of its circle strafes, straight strafes and ramming attacks. (He got pretty frustrated), while we were running cricles around the barriers and using the silos to block his view.

He hunted us in one spot for so long our team managed to get the attack LB up and running, it came over to our position and shot the tosser down in a single run. Chinese pilot proceeded to rage, we laughed and capped the next flag.

I never had any pilot have such horrid aim in my PR history, this guy couldnt hit the broad side of the silo, and he didn't know the metal barriers stopped his bullets too.

All in all, we couldn't believe how this guy could miss 6 guys, sometimes standing STILL, for a complete hour and managing to get shot down in the end. All the time he was circling just 7m above us, 3m in front of us and strafing like mad.

Have you ever used that helicopter and done good with it? It's easily the crappiest one in the game.

As I remember it the transport LB was more of a threat to it then it was to the transport LB.

A decent pilot in it who new that he couldn't kill inf, shouldn't go head on with the american LB and to be weary of the TOW gunner could do a lot of damage to the US not only through killing but also scouting.

If the Wasp got on the LB's tail it could take it down easily, i could anyway. It's only if it's the opposite way round and the LB gets on the wasp's tail. One on one the LB would have won
