I have to admit I try to avoid shooting civilians, but sometimes the civilians are leading people into an obvious trap. Then, if I see them heal someone or throw a grapple I will shoot them, just because they are so obviously leading people into traps.

When a strker just mows down 18 civis standing around for no good reason though. Only maybe two were within the ROE, the rest he got punished for.

I was never arrested when i played as a civi (i almost always got shot 90% of the time since i was using it the kit for reviving)was wondering what happens when you get arrested?


i was playing in some desert map with my buddy as an insurgent and there was a squad of brits aproaching us my buddy went in to intercept and imediatly got mowed down by gun fire so i decided to throw a few molotov cocktails.
then as i was going to storm in i realized that there was another entrance and when i took that intrance all three jerries where sitting back to me facing the front entrance so i switched to single shot and killed three of them then i stole the medic kit and wandered around untill some camper mg sniper shot me.

My latest adventure with a civ kit involved running into the open desert, trying to spot armor, or something (don't remember exactly what possesed me to do this). Anyway, I stood out there east of the VCP for about 5 mins. Thats when I heard the distinctive crack of a sniper rifle. I just stood there, and 5 spray shots later he managed to kill me (Like he couldnt see my hands in the air through his scope...) Other times I've managed to lure armor or blufor infantry to IED traps, which always is worth the long respawn.

Back in the old days, .7 or something, we used to make these civie squads and roam the desert throwing our hooks in the air so noone would shoot us. A guy would chase on of us and we would actually kill him with a barrage of rocks. Also we would have civies bait enemies into a PKM ambush, good times. But now the penalties for dying as a civilian make it redundant...

Too bad we used to have lots of fun with them.

My Best time was I was on a roof being a diversion for a trap on Fallujah (which failed epically) and was just about to get off the roof when I see a yank climbing the ladder towards me. Yikes! He gets up to the top and gets his restrainer out (and gets a rock to the head), I sprinted to the side, jumped off the roof, onto a leanto then a car (which made me bleed D then started to run away.

Then I see his SL come up in front of me, and they try to pen me in with a humvee, the SL and other dude from the roof run at me and I skill fully (i.e luckily) managed to prone just as the SL tried to arrest me. He TKd the other dude then I got up and tried to run away again, but I got trapped by a Humvee + LAV (Seemed like a very big fuss for 10IP imho) and the SL managed to get me
