Unhappy Casual noob gamer trouble

Hi!

Im a relative newcomer to pr, dropped out of vanilla because i wanted to play squad based, without the bunny hopping maniacs and all that.

In the forums i see talk about us noobs, about us being a pain, and yes i can understand thats how some feel about some noobs. But consider this; Some of us really WANT to learn to play this game as it is supposed to be played. Me, for one! I am as i say, a casual gamer, im a parent, and as such im not at liberty to play at specific times, its hard to get to play at a scheduled "boot camp" as i see some have started(great idea btw!), but i really uwant to learn.

In game, i have been in some quite good squads, with understanding sl that want me to perform well, that gives orders and direct. Thats how i learn! SO i wish more ppl would take their turn in game to at least give some of us a chance.

Yes, ive read the manual, yes i have been to training servers, which is very frustrating in deed, being cannonfodder isnt that fun in the long run...

If any clans need casual gamers, lemme know, ill sign up!
Wicca, guess you will read this, and yes i will take you up on your offer asap.

Heres my plea: Please guide those of us willing to learn, instead of dissing us...
If i do not do my job, let me know, so i can fix the problem and get better.Train me, so i can be a decent team player instead of what some of you might call a noob, or unexperienced I%/%ot....

Look forward to seeing you guys ingame again!

I am always okay with noobs I am not okay with people acting like smacktards, it isnt noobs in itself that are the problem its how some behave. And sometimes it isnt noobs who cant behave but people who have played the game before knows how it should be played and still act like a noob, I think actually most people meet on them and not new guys in general.

People don't realize that autism doesn't mean they're "stupid". Just socially inept. Like rhino... > > or in a worst case scenario... Wicca. =)- Lithium fox

I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.

Your not a noob buddy

Check out Northern Phalanx Clan, im not a part of that clan but their norwegian, and perhaps have a similar scedual such as yourself

Anywho, the words Noob, newb and smacktard is being tossed around on the forums alot these days... Can someone please just clean up all this prejudice?

There is players that play this game just to be sniper, they might be good at it or not, they might be new or not, they can have a mic or not.

Prejudice is our way of working as humans, putting people in boxes, but guys please for the love of all that is holy, just make one box per human... Cause if you place more than one guy in a box, obviously its not going to look good

If you get my point, everything is situational. You cant judge a guy from 10 mins of playing..
Ondbob, if you play the game to make others comfortable like in the way you act etc, your playing it correctly. People who play the game to make sure their happy, is playing it wrong.

Its like if im a squadleader, i do everything in my power and within the AAS order to make sure my squad is entertained, telling jokes, acting like weirdo etc. Splitting into fireteams. Evertything between heaven and earth, as long as your following the AAS and your squad is acting correctly.

If you play this to please others, you will recive tenfolds

I mean look at the devs, they made this game! For us, and their games are awesome, look at their videos... its full of win...

All about giving from yourself, and reciving.

(this sounds really christian meeeh, they are correct on alot of points )

Welcome to the forums!

Don't mind the forum members talking bad about new players from time to time - we don't mean it like that, and we all were noobs once (or still are^^).

Hope you enjoy the game!

When "noobs" want to learn, and show it, then that's perfectly fine. When "noobs" don't want to learn and just mess around or screw over the game for others purposely, that's when it gets annoying. And that's what most people complain about on the forums.

Yeah the main problem is people who just act like idiots. When I see someone who's lost I actually don't mind taking them under my wing for a little while. If you see me in game let me know and I'll help you get settled

for me, it can definetly happen that i yell at you when you run into me on a server when i was playing there some rounds with alot of noobs.
in case that i recognize youre one of the guys who dont just play for their very egozentric sniper-bomberjet-specialforces-bunny-roadkill-fun experience; then i will feel sorry lateron...

but currently, on many servers and especially on certain daytimes, its deadlier than ever to play pr

Solotanking, wasting important assets, not knowing AAS and INS can all be avoided by reading the manual.
If you still do that, it's understandable that people get angry. But if you are just a newbie that wants to learn, just tell the SL that you lack experience and he won't assign you the HAT kit. Nobody is going to yell at you for no reason. Trust me, I'm only playing PR for 2 months now and no SL has ever called me a noob.
