...not really!
As CATA Commander, the team that won here, I have to pay both NATO teams compliments for being an excellent opponent. It was a bold move we made there in the start. Especially against a trained tournament team. And we had a detailed backup-plan and planned fallback locations for the case it would not work...luckily the initial plan worked and we won. That`s indeed one of the best things in the tournament. You can actually try out strategies with well-trained, skilled and co-ordinated troops. Every single match was a hard fought battle. During the time we had less prepared troops we lost many battles...but even loosing was fun. Kudos to all involved players and especially their staff members. I hope we will have more challenging battles soon in Campaign 7. Cheers [PR]Bonsai Commander - Central Asia Treaty Alliance 2nd Army |

True, if you ever experienced a tournament battle you will see public games with a total different point of view.

All you need is the time/energy to train and fight with your team.
Check the tournament section on this page HERE. ...or the tournament page itself. Currently the tournament is in a downtime and waits for PR 0.8 to be released. Then Campaign 7 will be started with an updated format. You will find announcements here and on the tourney page. Stay tuned! |

Nice Video,
I think NATO1 got finally nailed and hit the big tree called CATA2 during operation "ramble in the jungle' aka OGT. CATAnians (CATA1+CATA2) have proved once more that there is nothing out there that can stop us. Stay tuned for C7,I smell a HAT trick (no relation to Anti tank weapons) PR is great and PRT is the best. We don't have the "best" players, but we do have the best teams,if you know what I mean. That includes all 4 (teams) |

Well said Bonsai, indeed that whole apply tactics got on their "weight" if you have on the other side worthy opponent.
Deadfast made great job with that vid. I just wonder how he manage to hide his R.Scott skills during the tournament? Looks like we have nice addition to the CATA propaganda team |

It amazes me you guys (Deadfast, Hunter, Guybrush, etc..)can sit down and make such spectacular videos out of our battles. OpGT was well planned and well executed. As you can see in the video a phantom bump nearly cost us our advance. It was a risk we took. Was it unnecessary risk...nope...but a tactical risk that won us the battle.
I got a close up too in the vid. Thank you so much Deadfast. I was the guy shooting the guys through the crack in the tunnel. I kept saying man why aren't the popping smoke...bang..bang...kill. Then the nice little under shot of the bullets falling down on the camera in the tunnel room(that was me |
