Default Fuzzhead’s canoodling Scimitar bollocks

After playing a really intense round of EJOD desert in the |TG| server, we moved on to the map Assault on Mestia. Fuzzhead and I had been acting as a tank crew throughout the previous maps, so we took over command of the British APC and Scimitar. Later in the match we attacked Storage Bunker.

I was the gunner on the Scimitar and Fuzz drove us up to the base. We blew down the front door and decided to roll our cute sized British RC Tank into the door! It was a pretty cool entrance I must say. We blew in the door and infantry swept in sweeping and clearing the place. In real life I could have seen us attaching chains around the door and backing up to rip the door off! We took the little Scimitar down the ramp and cleared the interior of the bunker much to the laughs of the squad - surprised how small the tank and how maneuverable it was in tight spaces. Then we got stuck at the bottom of the ramp.

We tried several times, but the Scimitar doesn't have the torque to get up that 45 degree incline wooden ramp in the bunker! We ended up using Land Rover's from the base to get BEHIND the Scimitar and push it out. It took us a couple of tries but we ended up getting the tiny tank out of the bunker much to the cheers of Squad members on VoIP. I loved how everyone who was securing the bunker stopped watching for the enemy and watched Fuzz and I and squad try and wrest the tiny tank free.

Much of the server was laughing at the antics and it was a fun experience. Someone in the server said Fuzz was canoodling with the Scimitar and because we were on the UK team, we decided to add Bollocks in to the mix. Hence the thread title.

On to something productive:

Fuzz and I noticed some things while Tanking and Scimitar-ing. You'r all probably aware of them, but just incase:

1) Coaxial and Turret mounted weapons need bullet deviation. I feel dirty sniping people with my belt fed sniper machinegun

2) The British APC and Scimitar tend to "slip" a lot. Moving sliding backwards down even the slightest incline (< 05 degrees incline)

3) There defiantly IS NOT a lack of transports in the game. When returning to base to get our tank after it respawned, we moved two command trucks and Vodniks to make room for more spawning. There was enough transportation in the base to move 3 plus squads out.

Thanks for the great time Fuzzhead, SilentDL, Teek, and crew! If anyone has any screen shots of the canoodling Scimitar bollocks, please post them!

Thanks!

Transportation is far easier in 0.7 Expecially on basrah with all those cars

Agreesings on coax bullet deviation, not every round goes to the same spot.

and if what I hear about the scimitar not making it up that incline is true Fix that!

shouldn't this be in suggestions?

Nah it was more of a story, with some suggestions I tacked on at the end.

Well why make a new thread when one already exists?
It's a ecologically friendly thing as we save bandwidth.
