How about mapping your capslock screen to your home key, and using capslock for VOIP? I don't see how you guys can have your VOIP mapped so you can't talk and strafe right at the same time.

Also map your primary weapon (3) to your middle mouse button (the wheel). It takes a bit of time to get used to, but it's great, especially for switching firing modes on the fly.

As for that commander VOIP stuff, I couldn't get it to work.

I've got my squad chat mapped to capslock. So I clicked a squad so they'd show up as white on the map, and then hit capslock. Nothing.

when spawning of a rally point, if possible move laterally first before moving back into the fight to avoid making a nice line to you RP for the enemy to follow...

in laymens terms dont go from RP ---- enemy... should be RP -- left/right -- enemy...

really makes a world of difference especially in nonurban fighting,,ie desert/forest...

not to mention your team is spread across instead of coming in one after the other into the enemy kill zone...

Only Sandpeople would travel in a straight line to hide their numbers and these blasts points ...

True, always try to NOT to give away your SL's or RP's position by moving directly to the enemy.

Without VOIP you mean?

Or, you could just use squad chat which is naturaly the L key, where the text appears in green.

Or do you mean the T key comma rose, radial menu? I just use T.

I have my VOIP as middle click which is nice for infantry but not nice when you are flying with pure keyboard and have to swtich to mouse flying everynow and then(even though i can do both)

That was suggestive

Tank Tips- Always have a 3 man crew if possible. Especially on Basrah. .50 Cal does wonders spotting and taking out jihads

Always use VOIP in armor

Designate a rearm point and call in some Supply Boxes on it

on basrah dont stay stationary EVER. Always continue moving. Shoot on the run. Try to take out vehicles behind lines too

These tips have probably been posted already, but who cares.

Check the minimap frequently

Alot of teamkills are the result of people not checking the map and therefore thinking they're firing at enemies.

Don't be a tardass

Yesterday, I was killed twice due to the absolute stupidity of teammates who accidentally fired their weapons on full auto while aiming at me from distances of a few meters. Do not be these kinds of peoeple.

Check your surroundings before proceeding across a street

You can end up very dead if you don't

If you don't want someone to be revived then...

...just wait for the medic to come and try to revive the guy and kill two birds with one stone.

I have the same mouse but use the side button for zoom/iron-sights. What do you use for that function?

I'd like to be able to map the scroll button for functions. (ie;scroll up = zoom, scroll down = grenade) Could someone PM me instructions on that? Maybe instructions you used that worked....I've seen some before but couldn't get them to work appropriately.
