World of Warcraft raid leader goes totally apeshit - Page 4

Actually you don't buy "points", you buy gold. "Gold farmers" run around all day for Chinese slave-labor pay rates killing ogres or whatever, selling the items they drop for gold, and then selling the gold for cash. Five USD will get you about 100 "gold coins", which you can spend on getting a horse. The alternative is to scrounge up that money yourself, which could take a week or more, particularly at lower levels of play.

MMO's are not actually as profitable as a $15 a month subscription fee would seem, because of the tremendous hosting costs of a five-thousand player server, a fifty man development team working to improve and add content to the game, and so forth.

Also they definately did not win. Onyxia is a giant dragon, which is tough enough to begin with. Even with flawless execution, sub-par weapons or bad luck could doom them. Off in the corner of the room are a lot of dragon eggs that hatch into a lot of ticked-off, baby dragons when touched. Someone was either hit by the dragon's tail and flung into the eggs (ITS NOT EVEN REMOTELY FUCKING POSSIBLE!, this leader claims) or they were just stupid and walked in. Once hatched, the little dragons started biting the heads off the healers. Without healing, the warrior (who keeps "aggro", the dragon's attention in melee) quickly died, and they probably saved all the useless hunters and rogues in a pen to cook over the next week.

I played EQ2 for several months and never got the chance to Raid but one thing I do know is Raids in WoW are bigger and a lot harder (so I have been told never played wow). I like the leroy jinkens vid...

Also about wow, it is the #1 game in the world for 3rd party addons and mods. Most of which are designed to assist in the organization and execution of raids.

I beleive this is a 40-man raid. Imagine getting the ENTIRE Gloryhoundz population correctly squadded, correctly kitted, all together at 8:00pm sharp on the carrier of Jabal. And if you're successful, three or four people get better guns.

I have to admit. I get really mad at PR sometimes, so I feel this guy's pain. I get especially frustrated when trying to lead and having my underlings fuck around. But I cuss like a sailor continuously so I don't know if they can always tell when I'm turbo pissed.

Although I don't see how one can get so made at a point and click rpg like this. PR seems much more frustrating than any other game I have played, but it's also that much more rewarding.

WOW.

Some of the funniest vids have come from WOW. Firstly that Leeroy one, then the one where that clan raided a funeral and killed everyone there and then this one.

I get slightly annoyed on BF2 when some bunnyhopping support noob kills me, but I don't think I could ever get as annoyed as that guy over a game.
