Terraria (PC Game)

I can't believe there's no thread on this yet. Basically its Minecraft in 2D but more awesome. And very addicting

You can play with up to 8 friends in huge worlds in which you can build, dig and explore to your liking. Its on steam now for 10 bucks.

Bought it, played it for couple hours and regret ever buying it. Boring as hell, visually very unimpressive, you can't do anything cool in 2d. Minecraft beats Terraria 6-0 IMO.

I disagree. I find Minecraft rather boring actually. And its not like Minecraft has great graphics. Also Terraria is more of an rpg than Minecraft is, and like with all rpgs you have to get into it first. Its actually loads of fun if you play it with friends

I did play it with friends, had 8 guys all in TS3 on the same server, still it was just ... boring. I'm sick and tired of Minecraft too at the moment, but atleast i played it a couple months before i got bored of it. Terraria got boring after a few hours.

Its a nice and simple game, you can see its inspired by minecraft but also brings its own additions to it. The world is a bit more dangerous and you can call in bigger "big bosses". So for a scroller game its pretty good one and well worth the couple of bucks to support the creator.

The games good but the beginning is pretty difficult if you don't know what your doing. After around 1 days worth of playing (14) Hours, you get the hang of it and its get fun, an also playing with friend = 10+ better.

i'd rather play this than minecraft for the sole purpose of the huge eye with teeth @ 3:40.
still looks boring, though.
