Your favorite childhood cartoon(s)
We all had favorite cartoons and I'm sure we all think that our childhood was the golden age for cartoons, at least me and my friends think our childhood cartoons were the best. Thanks to youtube I've rediscovered many of these classics.
My favorites have to be(not in order): Mighty Max, Ren and Stimpy, Batman, Pinky and the Brain, x-men, and Rocko's Modern Life. As far as I see it kid's cartoons are way to censored. Anything deemed "sensetive" can't be put on tv anymore. There was even one cartoon where they couldn't show guns in an episode about the revolutionary war! The best cartoons have to be the really old looney tunes where not only racial stereotypes put in and tons of violence, but propoganda. And don't get me started on anime... Sure there is some good anime, I'll admit that, but for the most part it's not clever, the artists have no talent, and all the cartoons use the same insane expressions and same stupid drawing style. Man I wish Cartoons could go back to the good old days... |
