There's a demo out on xbox live. I tried a few laps last night. The demo is horribly lacking in just about every setting known to racing games. No audio settings (forced to listen to horrible music drowning out the engine sound) no HUD options(forced to look at map, lap times, etc, etc. For someone who turns it all off, I wasn't impressed) no control options. All in all they really dropped the ball on that demo.

That said, I did really like the way the car handled. When you start to slide, it doesn't feel like your tires turn to PVC and you can only get out of it with sheer horsepower,(like in past forza games) rather now you seem to be able to regain control through realistic physics. Also, it seems like putting the power down is easier now but controlling the car through the corners is harder. Which is a welcome change since 90% of players will use traction control anyway. Another nice change was the option in the difficulty settings for turning off rewinds. I'm sure there will be a bonus in credits for running with it off.

Demo includes three cars, 2011 Subaru STI, 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia and 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator. On one track. There is a "Rivals" game mode I have yet to try, but from the looks of it, it's just a time trial where they match you to your closest leaderboard competitor.
