yea i suppose i totally agree with the reassurance side of it all..i'd never looked at it like that..so yea they do server a useful purpose..now i have a new view on it all

I thought it was to give "commanders" I guess the option to immediately shoot down a plane before it could cause harm to anyone on the ground. And also to have a visual on it at all times.
