Mod please close this if it even looks like its getting out of hand.

Really this is in response to the " Wraith a moderator?" topic.

Off-topic is one thing but the crap people are posting these days is doing nothing but degrading the forums here, I hope the mods keep up there job locking the topic that are plainly beyond spam.

I thought some of the stuff the offtopic guys at TBF2 posted was bad but some of the crap I see here takes the cake. If I were to join up today on these forums I would probably have never signed up.

for the guys who love trolling the net so they can post the crap just stop, if you have nothing better to post about don't post at all.

And I quote "Off-Topic ... everything else (including useless SPAM)". That is the title for this board, which unless I can't read properly says spam is fine. Unless the topics being posted are offensive they should not be locked, if they continue locking they should considering changing this threads name.

I think Off Topic should be split into two. Off Topic, and Spam. Off Topic should include general discussion about whatever the community wants to talk about, be it music, film, games, current affairs, and Spam should be for those threads that aren't really for anything other than boosting your post count. Or better still, just get rid of spam altogether.

But seriously though, I don't think a thread about some funny airline Q and As is classed as spam, it's just us guys trying to have some fun sharing the internet with each other and passing the time until the next release. Hey, it's better than us suggesting stupid stuff in the suggestions forum right?

Yeah, one of the threads was just a discussion of what country you would want to be leader of. Did it contribute much to the world? No, but it definitely wasn't just another blatant spam thread...

But some of the threads clearly weren't violating any of those things. They were just discussions of random stuff. And each time they were locked by the same person.....
