With all the security restrictions it would be a wonder if anyone bought Vista.

Well you won't have to get Vista to get that. Read up on HDCP.

The kicker is any device that is cracked or put on a blacklist be it your moniter, DVD drive ectr. New DVD's will be coded so they don't play on it. Leading you to buy a new one every time it happens.
