My first gaming machine was a Spectrum 48K. Yes, for those of you born in the 90's, thats 48k of memory. It did have a tape drive though. W00t!

My first PC game was Wolf 3D, so given the difference between that and BF2 i'd say "almost reality" fidelity of games is definitely possible within our lifetimes.
