I recommend every here to try it out. It has a pretty high learning curve but once you master the controls/gameplay the game becomes so rewarding.
I agree.

Since I play this game all the other WWII games seems useless because this one is so good. This is my favourite game at the moment I recommend it.

Fortunately, I just bought the full version the other day... and I heard new content was going to be released soon

Anyway, regarding Red Orchestra:

Personally, I think it's the best shooter I have ever played in my life. The uncensored realism is what truly makes this game intense. Why, just last night a T-34 shot one of my Wehrmacht teammates and he literally exploded into a morbid display of blood and guts. The sounds are excellent, but the effects (like when artillery lands or bullets from a MG are passing just over your head) are what really set this game apart.

EDIT: w00t new content

We played on this most intense new map, but cerebus kept taking my bayonet kills.

Everyone on these forums HAS to try this game out.

RO kicks ass. I've been playing it since the unreal tournament beta days [beta tested it for a while too]. Its quite slow to pick up but its beautiful when you know how it works. It still suffers from the odd graphical glitch and BF2 fans will find the "feel" of the game different from what you're used to but i'm with DangChang on this one: If you like realistic shooters this one is a must.

Oh, and its cheap. And its a mod made good, so all you out there who love the mod scene, this is an example of what is possible if you mod for a game that isn't developed by complete ar*eholes.
