I've not played RO due to time constraints... but for free I'll give it a bash to check it out. Have a lot of respect for what the team achieved. Tho I am a lil jaded on the WWII theme, I've been very curious about what the mod team was able to achieve.

Yeah I'm the same as egg I've played BF1942, All the COD expanisons and COD:2 I am very tired of WWII hopefullly these guys have done something new.

The WW2 genre has been done to death but this adds a twist of being only based on the eastern front and being realism based. Theres so many different aspects to RO - there;s the infantry only maps, Combined Arms maps and lastly tank maps. The atmosphere in RO is the best i've seen in any game, it goes from a bright sunny day in one map to a gritty raniny day on the eastern front.
I recommend every here to try it out. It has a pretty high learning curve but once you master the controls/gameplay the game becomes so rewarding. |
