Agrees with Kruder, BF 2 was indeed a great game. Its great as a run and gun, crasy intense action, puplic multiplayer game.
But it is also THE best clan game ever created IMO. No other FPS game comes even CLOSE to the tactics and cooperation you have in real clan matches. (i would know, ive played +400 of them :P)

Any news on what age it will be in? (im hoping a bit for Vietnam 2)

Battlefield 3 has been confirmed by Electronic Arts chief operating officer, John Pleasants. The new Battlefield 3 game is currently in development and the information was obtained from John during a presentation at the William Blair Growth Stock Conference in Chicago.

"I've had the luxury of looking at Battlefield 3 over at DICE in Sweden and was highly impressed by the way the team is working on that product. Of course, that's not in [this] fiscal year, but that is a product that is looking very good." Pleasants said during the conference.

We have also gotten information from a tipster that Battlefield 3 will be similar to Battlefield 2 and will support up to 40 players per team. There will also be 24 different vehicles that you can choose from and 17 different weapons. Like Battlefield 2, the game will also feature unlockable equipment.

So when will Battlefield 3 be released? The time isn't known but EA says not this year. We also heard that it would be the holiday season in 2010, however like with many of the other Battle field installments we'll probably get an early one map beta that can be played free a few months before. We're speculating that we'll see a Battlefield 3 Beta download in the Summer of 2010. However, nobody knows for sure.

Seeing how BF2 is still very popular for me (Thanks to PR). There is no doubt I will be getting BF3. I just hope they improved the squad system. Not that there is anything wrong with the BF2 one. I just hope they make it better some how. Like the ability to communicate between different squads as a squad. Maybe have the ability to create different squad roles like Infantry, Armor, Helicopter, etc like in PR where people rename there squads to the role they want. However have weapons limited to the role of the squad. Infantry weapons and upgrades limited to Infantry squads, etc.

Yeah BF2 really revolutionized clan matches and team-work based game-play with there squad system. It was games like Call of Duty 2 where people were always in it for themselves and there scores but when BF2 came out you noticed a lot more team-work and support.

Might have to as it should have a 2011 release date. Many think it will be a DX11 game so you will need a new graphics card at least.
