Wouldn't he disintergrate in the atmosphere? I mean that's way too high to deploy a parachute, you'll drift to who knows where, and he might die of heart failure from the long drop and the tension. French people never were really smart.

Also, speaking of breaking aviation records, did anyone hear what they found out happened to Amelia Earhart? One theory was that she got abducted by aliens, but what really happened was Chuck Norris was practicing roundhouse kicks across the Pacific, and his foot broke the speed of light without disintergrating, and killed Amelia Earhart in her plane. We just Solved a 60 some year old mystery and proved Einstein right in this universe.

.

Under normal circumstances, everybody pwns Griffon, in Soviet Russia, Griffon pwns EVERYBODY!

I'm telling you, he will disintegrate. Why do you think shuttles have heat resistant tiles?

Fournier will be wearing a spacesuit made of new synthetic material fabricated by the Textile Institute of France. The apparel is designed to thermally balance the wearer's body during The Big Jump, yet is light enough to enhance Fournier's maneuverability during the plunge to Earth.
That is their answer to the problem.
As to the disengration problem i'm sure they have an answer plus he is still doing it within the atmosphere.
