I have that game on my Steam account but I uninstalled it some months ago because I didn't really like it, got also bored fast and almost no flanking possibility's in the maps (with a lot of chokepoints on the map), and lots of other things I didn't like but overally it's because it's too unrealistic. There was 1 thing which was nice and that is you need at least 2 people to capture a flag, but with almost no teamwork on many servers this leads to frustration. I heard there was a big patch last week and/or some new maps so I will install it again tomorrow just to play it for maybe a week for a fresh change. If you want a good WWII game I recommend Red Orchestra, in my opinion it's a better game in every way. But ofcourse try for yourself.

Just been playing a bit of it, and its excellent. Wouldn't mind a Red Orch. free weekend though.

Its CS with Germans and class limits. I enjoy it a lot, but its a very good GAME and a very bad SIM.

Tbh, I was expecting a WW2 CSS, but its nothing like that. Its so much more hollywood-ised, and so cinematic. its really good fun.

psh.... RO is better. I made the mistake of buying dod:s.... its basically cs with ww2 guns... You have all the same n00bish crap in dod:s as you do with cs:s..

But however, with RO you do not

I was just playing CS:S (I do own it) and for sheer fun and running around like chickens with your head's cut of there is no better.

CS:S is just so... so.... so..... n00bish though.. I mean it can be fun at times, but if you have no one to game with its boring.

Like sometimes me and a buddy hop on random pub servers and do this. (you guys shoudl try it some time, its fun!)

Start with only using the p228 (fast firing pistol, very accurate)
then after about 2-3 kills with that, move on to the deagle (biggest handgun in the game)
then after 2-3 kills of that, move on to the p-90 smg (very very fast firing accurate smg)
then after 5-10 kill or more with that, move onto the UMP-45 (slow firing low ammo capacity BUT POWERFUL KNOCKDOWN POWER)
then after 5-10 kills or more with that, move onto the m1 pump shotty

(my fav, VERY POWERFUL at close range, long range your screwed)
Then after 10-20 kills with that, restart the order, or pick one of these guns and stick with it.

Now this will do one of 3 things for you in a random pub server.
1. Piss off the players so much to where they get admin insisting that you are cheating, and then you get banned (had this happen before)
2. Piss off the players so much that they think you hack, so they get an admin and he comes in and watches you for a bit, only to conclude that you dont hack, allowing you to continue your fun. Then the server empty's because everyone is convinced you are cheating (happened as well)
3. Piss of the players so much that they think you hack, so they get an admin and he comes and watches you and decides your not a hacker, and your also pretty damned good and offers a place in his clan. (happened to us on many occasions)

All in all, its quite fun, and it can kind of rattle things up a bit in cs.. definately makes the game more fun to play.
