Well, landing jets realistically is easier in this mod, I guess that's a step for the positive. In vBF2, I pull my nose up to land, decrease speed, come in to the runway, and my nose starts tilting down. Now seriously, what kind of plane does that? All the weight, fuel, ordnance, etc. is in the back. In Allied Intent, the planes don't tilt down anymore. Also, I guess I was just playing the wrong maps, I played Operation Night Sweep and that map with the airfield you have to capture so you can n00b rape everything else. Dalian Sunset and The Push are pretty good, but still nowhere close to realistic.

Different mod teams have different objectives. I've played some Allied Intent v 0.1 and while not my cup o' tea, these guys have some great talent.

AND Y'ALL SHOULD REMEMBER: if you don't like the mod, that's cool... but keep in mind these guys are doing this for free and, like us, are learning as they go. So please keep the comments constructive and respectful of the efforts of a talented mod team, even if you don't like their mod.

Oh yeah, the Bot commander I was referring to is not actually a commander. The commander position is left open 1. because the engine is limited, and 2. so the player can apply any time he wants to. There is, however, a commander that is not visible in-game, and normally uses artillery on flags that were recently captured, and gives supply drops to zones under attack, but that's about it. However, the bot commander now artilleries any flag that comes under even a minor attack, even if his own team is sitting there. I am also assuming, that with the addition of vehicles so powerful, the bots are now scripted to use anti-tank weapons more, as I commonly get n00b t00bed.
