yea I read about this on the MOD website, the Americans really have thought of some great rehabilitative therapys and new technologies

its the old saying, Military advances bring medical advances.

We've been doing this in the UK for years too, Rudd.

It's an amazing skill, right enough. I've actually tried hearing for objects, corners of rooms etc and aside from telling the difference between a bowl (open end facing me) and empty space, I failed pretty hard.

I'm dreaming about making a human-bat hybrid by breeding blind people with the ability to see by sonar
