They were working on TF2 as well

It may be foreshadowing of that, rarest of things - a release date for a Half-Life game.

Or even for a vauge time frame. Or Screen shots. Something. Seriosly, we've been waiting for nearly three damn years for Ep.3 (If it isn't out by November then it'll have been a longer wait between Ep.2 and Ep.3 than between HL2 and Ep.2. If it wasn't valve (or Blizzard) I'd have called vapour ware).

And remember, these people are Half-Life fans - thier entire fandom is based on speculation. Its like if someone got a bunch of consiparcy nuts and gave them something to distract them that they took seriously. You ever been on a forum where people discuss the Half-Life story?

Hell, you ever see what speculation (usually fairly accurate speculation, to be fair) people pull out of TF2 "meet the" trailers?

Valve know this and something like this isn't likley to be a coincidence.

But sure they could have put a message like this in the ad, but I'm just trying to say that ep3 is not really a secret. So its not like this confirms something people didn't already know.

I think what everyone's trying to say is that this little message is telling us that they are going to reveal more information about ep3 soon. Or at least I hope.
