The best form of governance is benevolent dictatorship. I for one welcome our Google overlords.
Seriously though, at the moment, trust google. If you look at who's running it's a bunch of young computer nerds, smart people who love what they do and have been made obscenely rich doing it. They have innovated not because competition forced them to but because they could, because they wanted to. Off course, as they age, we'll see what happens but at the moment their idealism hasn't failed them, they aren't weak to cynical corruption just yet. |

evil empire, I'm afraid. Corporate profit motive inevitably favours the shareholder.
Right now, there are improvements and benefits to google. However, the internet is still contested. Competition tends to breed effective results, monopoly stagnation |
