BFBC2 Rush = Insurgency?

So I recently heard that the new Battlefield bad company 2 has a gamemode called rush.

Apparantly in this gamemode one side has to destroy boxes (spawned 2 at a time) while the other side defends those boxes.

Furthermore the defending side does not have tickets.

Sounds familiar?

Its a gamemode in BFBC1 aswell but that one was called Goldrush

But seriously how hard is it to come up with such an gamemode requires hardly any thought at all. Even Though I feel that in BFBC2 you are not rewarded as a attacker to actually shoot someone as he knows your at cache A and spawns in 12 seconds.

But yeah when you say it they do look alike in theory that is.

You know I would, but not everyone has a PC thats able to run it.

well if you call familliar by "people camping the boxes to get kills while you try to defuse it" well then its similar lol

How can you say camping your defending a important objective camping is when you actually hide in a strange place where you cant be taken out easily and wait for easy kills.

I always "camp" the objective when I have put on a bomb to destroy the objective I dont run away and see that the other team defuse the charge :S

But then again the game needs some kit limiting to many snipers in sniper hills.

Uhh, it's similar in the sense that you're going for a 'cache' like thing, but you just can't compare PR to Bad Company, both are awesome in their own ways. (PR is still more awesome, of course.)

The random spawning locations of the caches and the attackers having only a rough area marked off is what makes PR's attack/defend mode so much fun.

The gamemode is just objective based... It's been done before, and will be done again by other games.
