Once again it was done before in BC 1. The lack of tickets for the defending team encourages the attacking team to move forward instead of camping. It's just a game mechanic, similar to if no tickets where involved and a timer where placed there...
Regardless the 2 should not be compared, because they offer different things, even if the game type seems the same. If I want an epic amount of teamwork and realism I'll play PR. If I want a fast paced shoot them up, with epic destruction physics and game enhancing mechanics then I'll play BF BC2. Simple as... |

Has nothing, no relation, and no resemblance to each other beside 'destroying' and 'object'.
The mode consists of one team rushing like idiots to the M-COM box, sit in front of it for 3 seconds, and then sit there and defend it during an awesome light show for 20 seconds before it blows itself up, and then repeating the process on the second box, before going to 'Stage 2' of the map, where you do the same thing all over again in a different area. |

The similarities you list (Destroy objects & no defender tickets) are the only thing those game modes have in common. On this basis you could say that vBF2 Conquest = Deathmatch.
There are a ton of differences. Here's just a few:
Those are just the main differences I recall from memory. I didn't even start with the civilian class that is used on some maps. As one can clearly see the relation between both game modes is all but non-existent. |

If you look at the core of each game mode, they are infact the same. But, What other thing in the world DOESN'T have something similar to it?
/off topic Not necessarily. 2 BluFor snipers. Wait 15 minutes. 4 BluFor snipers. 4 Marksman Kits. Farmed OpFor sniper kits = 12 snipers. |

Didn't want to litter the thread with too many vBF2/BC2 vs PR (not directly related to Insurgency vs. Rush) changes or I'd be sitting here typing all day long
