I dont hate the US government and I do respect all soldiers in service including the US soldiers.
It is not about the soldiers or the human side of it, it is about people letting movies have a greater influence than the truth and the truth is the US soldiers had the choice to be there or not the somalians didnt the US government at the time learnt from that mistake and since hasnt send soldiers to die on humanitarian missions, which is a good thing the way I see it. 17 years later nobody gives a fuck about the political impact of that missions and I fear that this is the kind of attitude that lets humanity do the same mistakes over and over again
