Joint Operations

Anyone play this game still?

I know theres a reality mod for it, but do the people who use it actually play as a team or is it just a free for all, as per usual.

stopped playing it as the Reality Mod community was too small and I guess boredom sets in over time.

Everytime I went into the vanilla servers and asked people to come over and try out the Mod I was getting abuse to my face from people that wouldn't even try out a free Mod!

There are still a few of us in my clan that play from time to time. Its good to break up BF2 play once and a while.

I played JO since it first came out. Then went on to play the Reality mod. Then that International Conflict mod came out and pretty much stole away anyone that woulda tried out the Reality mod so it all kinda died off. A lot of people that I played the Reality mod with are here now I noticed.

when the IC mod came out I went and tried it and it was lame IMO. the physics of the Reality weren't there, the sound FX was muted and unrealistic. It just wasn't anywhere near as good.

it's not the game, it's the Reality Modding that keeps a lot of the players circulating

Yeah, IC mod was pretty much like regular JO but with new toys and such. I saw a trailer for an updated version of IC and it looks really nice, but it all seems like too little too late for JO :-\ Oh well, I'll always have good memories of that game.. and some terrible ones.. but it is the FPS that really got me into playing online and working as a team, so I'll always be grateful to it for that.

I dont play it at all, last time I played it, it gave me a headache with all bugs and lags

If anyone fancies it, we could play Joint Ops with the Reality mod and do some Coops, or if theres enough intrest a small team game. All with fireteams, voice comms etc.

I still play Joint Ops.. never knew there was a reality mod for it though. I basically play JO for just a laugh, I love the large scale battles for it.. I can't see a reality mod based from JO get much of a community, so large scale battles wouldn't exactly be available.

	[RGG] - Pte.Phillips - www.rggsquad.co.uk - Arma ftw Really Gay Guy America was a tad late into the First World War. They redeemed themself's and came in slightly sooner in the Second. Now they seem determined to start the Third.
