This is really weird it just happend to me at like 4 PM today. i was fine all day until the back of under my mouth started to hurt at around 4pm taught was nothing major. Got a bit hungry taught i might have a bit of a scone. Started to eat it and then the back of my mouth started hurting while i was chewing and i could not digest it as it hurt so much. I tried to have some milk to see if i could drink it and i could barley drink it as it hurt so much.
Just like 2 hours ago saliva started to bulid up in my mouth and it was really hard for me to swallow my saliva. Now loads slavia keeps bulding up in my mouth and i have to keep spitting it out in to a basin as i wont stop bulding up. Anybody ever encounterd this before and know how to solve it ?its so anyyoing i couldint eat my dinner im so hungry!! |

If you've got access to any anti-motionsickness tablets (something like a "Kwells" (brand name, generic name: hyoscine hydrobromide)) then pop one of those in line with the recommendations on the packet and then toddle off to see your family doctor.
Hyoscine hydrobromide is an antimuscarinic, and will cause your mouth to dry up. Use only in line with the guidelines on the packet and seek medical advice; I'm not a doctor and I'm advising you only on the strength of personal experience and the fact that it's an over-the-counter medication that won't do you much harm if you follow the instructions. |

I have had similar things happen to me, it's a combination of a constriction in the back of the throat caused by Acid Reflux and trying to eat bready things without first broadening the esophagus, bready thing tend to be more difficult to swallow. The mouth continues to salivate because it feels something in the back of the throat.

Get a glass of water -- are you overcome by fear?
No? I'm stumped. Yes? You've got rabies! I'd say a trip to the doctor is in order -- I'm assuming Ireland has socialized medicine. If it were me? I'd shrug and keep eating. -REad |
