Question Follow up to Americas army????

I have heard and read a lot of Americas Army on this forum, so I decided to check it out. I have to say it looks really awesome, whit weapons configs etc. The only thing I don't like whit it is the outdated graphic. It looks like Counter strike graphics.

Im just wondering if there will be an followup to AA, for example AA2. I would for shore start playing it if they did an upgraded version.

LOL! That happens to me too every now and then

I hate AA. It's supposed to b all teamwork but the few attempts I tried, it was just a bunch of yahoos running around gunning aimlessly at anything that moved.

It's one saving grace is that I can run it with the video settings maxed out!

"They" are not going to make another America's Army. America's Army is made by America's Army, not some fancy game developer such as EA who pump out the latest games to rake in the cash. The fact, as much as the graphics suck, they made the game they wanted. They put a lot of money into releasing it and it's served and is still serving its purpose. They have absolutely no reason to release a newer version, especially if it's just the guys with their fancy computers who want it. It's designed to educate people about how the US Army works, not to look pretty.

Perhaps http://www.insmod.net could be touted as the successor if they ever release.

Realistic, teamwork-based shooter on the HL2 engine.

Wow, Ive never heard of that....might be time to get myself a copy of HL2!

These things that claim to be the ultimate in teamwork dont always live up to it though....didnt EA/DICE claim that about BF2...

I am sick of playing with American weapons, as American soldiers and with their vehicals. I have nothink against them, its just i play as Americans on my favorite games; so it gets boaring with the same poor/ancient weapons week in and out.

If a game came out that you could chose your nationality and use their weapons it would be good like West Vs Far East were the nations unite dureing nuclear war.
Of corse i would screem if it was only Europe, Asia and North America!
