Need French help

alright, so I'm supposed to write an essay in french, I carefully choosed my subject, which will be firearms. Now the problem I face is that I have absolutely no idea how different parts of a rifle/handgun are called.

if anyone speaking french could translate the following:
receiver
barrel
muzzle
stock
bolt
safety
sight
trigger
magazine
case
bullet
enemy (i heard it's cible, but i'm not sure)

I tried to use a dictionary but some words have a lot of synonyms and I don't want to write something that doesn't mean what i want to say

What ever you do, dont use an online translator. I used it for gramma checking my first french essay and since I had no idea if it was correct or not my original story about going to Africa on holiday ended up as a crimi about me escaping to Africa

barrel (canon)
muzzle - heck I'm not even sure we have a term for that one ^^ -
stock (crosse)
bolt (culasse)
safety (securité)
sight (viseur)
trigger (platine or percuteur)
magazine (magasin/chargeur)
case -not sure which part this is-
bullet (balle)
enemy (ennemi)
target (cible)

this should help you verify if its indeed the right parts for you:

and by case I meant bullet casing, but thanks to your link i found out that it's called etui

Heu, trigger pour moi c'est une gâchette, Saobh, on dit bien "He is a trigger happy" : c'est un fou de la gâchette

Translation : trigger is "gâchette", we usually say "He is a trigger happy", in French "c'est un fou de la gâchette"

I would say "corps de l'arme", but I think a more precise word exists, I will look for it, but I promise you nothing...maybe one of my MA knows that.
