I believe that was during Operation Anaconda (oh duh, they just said it). One of my personal favorites is a sniper team in Ramadi who ranked up a several hundred kill record and also hold the record for longest kill with a 7.62.

Also some other guys who are in my unit have some real interesting stories, one gave a ride to some sas guys to a target building they had in the American ao, and went into how they cleared the house and what not, It was a pretty funny story.

In the middle of this atm, very interesting. 3 chinooks lost in one mission and many lives very costly id like to actually know the kind of hardware lost in afghanistan by the coalition because i know britain wouldnt be able to afford such losses surely i mean chinooks cant be cheap..

It happened just before he got sent home. He was at a FOB and he was headed back to another area, and some SAS guys found out they would be driving through the area they needed to get to. Anyway they were worried on the drive down because of the high ied threat, one they got there the Americans waited outside, one of the sas told them to cover their ears, trying to be cool, they didn't. Anyway the breach charge went off they all dropped to the ground because of how loud it was and when they got back up the saw the sas coming out the back of the house high fiving each other.

Eh, don't know, we really don't talk much after he got shot.

I also heard a good story from a 101st guy in my unit who helped find a leak and arrest her (some British reporter who was attached to them would call insurgents tell that what vehicles to hit and what the load out of the convey was not to mention their route.
