THe best is he was actually pretty good before he broke his spine in 1999.
Also he only got to the final because several of the competitors got disqualified because of breaking the rules or starting before the signal etc. |

Man Vancouver has never been this exciting! Yesterday during the opening ceremonies it was insane outside. I can't image what is going to happen if Canada wins gold for men's hockey, shit will go down

So, apparently Canada has stated that it will top the medal charts at these Olympics and win more medals than the US, which usually is the one that wins the most gold.
Bring it on!  btw, anybody else think it was kinda funny/sad when the Iranian team got no applause when they came in to the stadium? Apparently some of the Iranian athletes refused to come to the games when they found out they would end up competing with Israeli athletes.

All the rest is pretty meh.. for me. Skating is going to be a medal rampage for us Dutch hopefully! |
