Default If the internet was a real person how would he/she would look like?

So if the internet was a real person how would he or she would look like?

To not risk getting banned I will say its the picture of a fat guy with glasses infront of his computer

I think a fat guy is the only image that comes to mind.

Pedobear Filming pointless things and telling all his friends all of his recent exploits. That's what it would look like.

Considering according to recent studies more its more than 90% of web traffic...

This is my perception of what the 'internet' as a person is:

It encompasses the following:

1.) Obesity (result of gaining all entertainment via electronic form; i.e. not going outside to play football or joining a club/team of some sort)

2.) Nerdiness (represented by glasses)

3.) Social recluse (represented by the trademark neck-goatee, typical of most nerd gamers / D&D players / soft-core goths)

4.) Outright weirdness (represented by the cosplay costume. The internet is a place where individuals with socially worrying obsessions/fetishes can get together with like-minded people, and if they get together in large numbers as people cross-dressing up as kid's cartoon characters at a conference somewhere, it's suddenly 'OK' to yell "FAIL!" in the middle of a pub because you're in 'like-minded' company...

-----

The above is something my eldest brother experienced; he's a big nerd without the appearance/weird fetishes to go with it, and has in the past met up with other goons (he's a SomethingAwful member, has god knows how many banned accounts for trolling for the fun of it) across the country at their small get togethers, and has told me on occasions how embarrased he has been to have gone 'meeting up with some friends on the internet to chat with over a drink', only to end up wanting the world to swallow him up as the people he meet yell internet quotes and 'LOL' at the top of their lungs in a pub filled with normal people.

-----

About a year ago I met up with some old friends of mine who're now at Uni and we al went for a meal. The group consisted of me, two good male friends of mine who are pretty much nerds (not so much as above), and a group of ordinary girls who are also friends of ours.

We went for a meal in a standard restaurant (not posh, but not fast-food), and I was so embarassed trying to eat whilst my two male friends screamed YouTube / internet quotes across the table at one another in a room filled with kids, couples, groups of other young adults... I did at one point ask 'em to turn it down because people were staring at which point one friend looked at me with the 'Okay I'm kinda embarrassed I've been asked to stop, but if I stop it'll look like I've been told off so I'll carry on defiantly' kind of face and said "SO? Let them look if they want to be nosy."

Not to get all up on my high-horse, but unlike this group of friends who were at Uni, and had probably continued their drink-fuelled social abnormalities, I'd spent the last two years in a few jobs, interacting with the real-world, mingling with real people in real work places, and in general, maturing. I could definitely see the difference that 2 years working and 2 years of higher education does to someone. Especially as I'd just got into the police about a month ago, I'll be honest, I felt quite embarrassed to be in their company at that particular moment. It was fine after we left, they're still good mates and we have hung out since; call me condescending or whatever, all I'm saying is it's startling how you change when you're placed in a new environment (i.e. out of a subordinate role of being a student amongst others, and joining workplaces with people of all ages from all walks of life).

Death by wall-of-text / 'TLDR', I know. Nerds.
