Default Browser-Based Games

Hey guys,

I tend to have a little free time on my hands at work, and would help to make the days go quicker if I had a little something to engage my interest for a few minutes each day that I can progress with.

In that I mean, I'm not asking for a link to tetris =P

I'm currently 'playing' a political sim called NationStates, and also the zombie-survival web-game Urban Dead.

There used to be two particular space-based web-games I used to play, but one collapsed years ago and the other became a pay-to-play game, which just ain't right for a browser-based game, they were Planetarion and StarSphere.

I'm not quite sure what genres are out there, and how 'good' those genres are pulled off on the web.

If you know of any, could you let me know?

These two are surprisingly realistic wargames
Warfare 1917 | Armor Games
Warfare 1944 | Armor Games

This is an extremely well-plotted point-and-click horror game (it has a sequel!)

This ones a fairly neat RTT-style Zombie defense

That's for your input Shaihuluid but I think you're mis-interpreting the kind of Browser games I'm after ;]

I once tried Puzzle Pirates a few years ago, wasn't for me.

More thinking of something that you 'build up' like a planet, or castle etc and you build buildings out of your resources that will take like, 4-48 real time hours, that sort of thing.
