Bootleggers :: Browser-based multiplayer mafia game set during the 1930s prohibition era

Have plaued this gangstergame quite a while with a couple of buddies. You start as a thug or so, but when you gain ranks and money, you can do organized crimes and such. Pretty nice .

Gets repetative though, but I think this is the same with all browser games.

Thanks for your replies guys.

Nick, why not come on the T&T TS3 and talk to me about it? =]

Planetarion and StarSphere were great; you made your planet and started in a galaxy with other planets, and could form alliances with other galaxies. You researched technologies/buildings and built a combat fleet, spy drones etc, and whole galaxies would invade others, and it'd be like 12 irl hours before a combat report made its way back to you that your now ex-ally invaded your galaxy whilst you were away, and destroyed entire planets

State of War - the browser strategy war game

Pretty nice strategy game, problem is its made by just one guy in his spare time so many bugs and such are not being taken car of as he seems overworked as it is. Also the server seems to be quite stretched time to time so you might have some problems connecting.

Otherwise its a solid browser game.

The only acceptable 'Lone Wolf' you'll be allowed to play :

QUAKE LIVE, is a good in browser game, does need to be downloaded as a plug in first though... But its basically quake multiplayer, but with stats and friends etc.. and Free =].

Only problem is that its only supported by 2 or 3 browsers and not chrome =[

There used to be an awesome web based game that was run to promote the real game. It may have been Vietcong. Anyway, on the web based version you had two teams and played with 5 or so other players per team in a Vietnam setting with loads of different maps. It was top down, turn based and the objective was to wipe out the other team, capture intel, or some other objs i cant recall. You accrued points and gained levels which would allow you to carry more grenades etc. There were also medics who could revive or heal you and other classes to choose from to suit you.

The game was awesome but Im pretty sure it went offline after the marketing for the game died out. Best web based game i ever played though I wish it came back or is a similiar one out there.
