Its funny how large countries like to use GDP as a barometer for everything, while small countries use GDP per capita.

I stopped caring after seeing Hawaii/Vietnam. Having lived majority of my life there, I can tell you it isnt a poor state.

What? I'm Russia?
I guess New York is filled with pockets of radiation, too. (Jk, Russians on the forums) No, but seriously, some of those don't seem to make sense. New York City (where I live) has some of the highest rent in the country, the most millionaires per capita, and a ridiculous number of skyscrapers. (If you live in NYC, all other American cities seem small and flat. I can't really see how that's similar to Russia, but whatever. Still interesting, I guess. And New Hampshire is dead-on correct. People there (and much of New England) are filthy rich. |

Entertaining map, but if you take the world's largest economy (by a factor of 1.75) and break it up 50 times, no wonder each equals another nation. It is interesting to see that both the states I live in have GDPs equal to very prosperous European nations, but both those nations have far fewer people in them.
