Getting Sent to Afganistan, Gonna Miss PRing It Up

I have two months before training, so I am probably gonna go on a PR binge and play hours on end (I do already), maybe even 24 hours long. Thanks to all the guys that usually play in my squad and when we own it up.

BTW, I am gonna try to buy a gaming laptop before I leave, so anyone have any ideas of a good gaming laptop? If they have good internet, I will try to play PR over there.

I played Warhammer Online once with a guy from Denmark stationed in Helmand, so it depends on where they send you I guess. Stay safe out there!

If you get sent to one of the larger bases, then it's fairly certain that they'll have internet there.
Your ping may be really bad of course, but if someone asks you why it's so high, you can just be like "Oh, well I'm in Afgahnistan, so the internet isn't great." That should shut them up.

Stay safe! And take some pictures for future PR insurgency maps.

From what I've heard, the big American FOB's have good internet. Depends where you're going I guess.

Haha I've heard stories of those and seen some as well. Some people would try to run raids in WoW and just experience a good 1-2 seconds of lag.

Also heard of one where this dude was like "AFK rpg attack!" Then he comes back. "Ah it was only mortars."
